The Experience

What you're actually paying for is the listening.

A great ceremony isn't written in an afternoon. Here's the work behind it, start to finish, so you can see exactly where the care goes.

01

The first conversation

We start with a free call. You tell me about the two of you; I tell you how I work. No pressure either way. This is as much about whether I'm right for you as the reverse.

02

Gathering the story

This is the part that makes the difference. I interview the two of you, separately and together, and then, with your blessing, the people who know you best: a parent, a sibling, the friend who was there the night you met. I'm listening for the specific, true, slightly embarrassing details a stranger could never invent.

03

The first draft

I take everything I've gathered and write a full ceremony. Structured, paced, built around your real story. Not a fill-in-the-blank, but something composed for you specifically, from the ground up.

04

Shaping it together

You read every word. We revise, as many times as it takes, until it sounds exactly right. I'll also help you write your personal vows if you'd like. Nothing about the day is a surprise.

05

Rehearsal & coordination

I come to the rehearsal, coordinate with your other vendors, and handle the timing so the ceremony runs the way you pictured it. The license is taken care of, too.

06

The day itself

I arrive early, with a professional PA, and deliver the ceremony live. Or, if you've chosen Writing + Coaching, I've already prepared your person to. Either way, the words are fully written and in your hands well before then.
